Links to Programming Resources

In no particular order, here are some links to other web sites or resources in the general area of computer programming. They are oriented primarily towards COBOL and IBM Mainframe subjects, but not limited exclusively to those areas. There are also links to C/C++, Visual Basic, X86 Assembler, Linux, REXX, ISPF, text editors, and TN3270 Terminal Emulators. New links have been added for free GnuCOBOL compilers for Windows (Windows XP, Vista, Win7, 8.1, and Windows 10).

I am now able to serve .zip files. For anyone interested, here is a version of the Unix CAL.EXE calendar utility, reimplemented in PowerBasic as CAL.EXE for 32-bit or 64-bit Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 10.

CAL.ZIP for Windows XP and Windows 7

I also have a HEXDUMP.EXE command line utility for viewing a windows file in hexadecimal and ASCII. It is also written in PowerBasic for 32-bit or 64-bit Windows XP or higher.
